Diagnostic imaging of the foal: thorax and abdomen

Diagnostic imaging techniques play an important role in the assessment of the thorax and abdomen in the foal, as they provide information of great clinical utility to achieve an accurate diagnosis and treat the patient effectively. In this article, the use of these techniques will be described from a practical point of view, as well as the radiographic and ultrasonographic features of the most common diseases will be described.
