Magnetic resonance diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries associated with soft tissues

Magnetic resonance diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries associated with soft tissues

Resumen

Abstract

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic technique that provides excellent anatomic contrast and soft tissues detail. For this reason, it is a very valuable tool in some regions within the equine limbs where other imaging modalities are intrinsically limited. In this paper the most frequently ligament and tendon pathologies diagnosed by MRI are described in the sport horse.
